Monaro Park Dog Boarding is centrally located between Fyshwick and Hume, on the Monaro Highway in Canberra. We are a 10 minute drive to the Canberra Airport and an easy stop off on your travels to the coast or the snowfields. Monaro Park is a peaceful, family owned and operated property, which is a cattle farm and also provides agistment for horses.

Monaro Park Dog Boarding is owned and operated by a young, local couple; Josh & Bridget. You might also meet some of their family, who often help out too. The pair both live on the property, so your dogs are never far away and are checked on regularly throughout the day. 

 

As Josh is the sole caretaker of Monaro Park Dog Boarding, you will always know exactly who is caring for your pet. Many would agree that he has a calm and patient attitude towards animals, and has a special connection with them, that is proven by the way animals respond to him.

As much as Bridget would love to be snuggling your dogs all day, she works part-time as a Social Worker, and spends a lot of time running around after Josh and Bridget's young daughter. You might see Bridget around when she gets a chance to help out.

 

Josh & Bridget are passionate about the welfare and comfort of all animals. They understand how hard it can be to leave your pets in the hands of someone else when you go on holiday, so they aim to ensure that your pooches get all the love and care they would get at home. 

 

Josh & Bridget are experienced animal handlers who have, and have had, many animals of their own, including; Ridgeback x Great Danes, a Moodle, a Hungarian Vizsla, Toy Poodles, cats, goats, chickens, rabbits, ducks, cows and horses. The pair understand and respect animals and their needs, and aim to provide the most comfortable and relaxed environment for your dogs.
